Spieth finished in a 10-way tie for 32nd at THE PLAYERS Championship after posting a two-under cumulative score.
Spieth was able to end the tournament with a solid three-under 69 score in the final round. However, any hopes of reaching the top of the leaderboard over the weekend evaporated during the third round Saturday, especially after carding a triple bogey on the par-4 10th hole. Spieth ranked eighth in SG: Approach and SG: Around-the-Green, but he also ranked near the bottom of the field in both SG: Putting and SG: Off-the-Tee. He'll be in the field for the Valspar Championship next week, which he won in 2015 after beating Sean O'Hair and Patrick Reed in a playoff. More recently, Spieth has finished T3-MC-T28 since 2023.
Spieth posted a six-under cumulative score at the Arnold Palmer Invitational to finish tied with Adam Scott for 11th.
Spieth's best round of the tournament was Saturday, when he posted a four-under 68 that included three consecutive birdies from holes three to five. He ranked T11 in the field in GIR, 16th in both SG: Approach and SG: Putting and in the top-30 in SG: Off-the-Tee, driving accuracy and SG: Around-the-Green. Spieth has made the cut in four of five Tour outings this season, including back-to-back top-12 finishes. He's in the field for THE PLAYERS Championship next week, where he's finished in the top-20 only twice in 12 appearances while missing the cut six times at TPC Sawgrass.
Spieth carded an even-par 72 on Sunday at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am to finish 13-under and tied for 29th.
Spieth entered the weekend in a tie for 10th after playing his first 36 holes of the tournament in a collective 10-under-par, but he lost 2.46 strokes ball striking throughout his final two rounds at Pebble Beach to ultimately drop outside of the top-25. Nonetheless, he ranked third among the Signature Event field in SG: Putting and fourth in putting percentage from 5-10 feet en route to 21 total birdies and an eagle across 72 holes. Spieth lands at 82nd in the Official World Golf Ranking ahead of the upcoming Genesis Invitational.
