Vegas is in the field for the Travelers Championship, Rob Bolton of PGATour.com reports.
With Corey Conners pulling out of the event due to a wrist injury, Vegas will fill his spot in the 72-player field. Across eight appearances at TPC River Highlands, he has a best finish of T24. Since contending at the PGA Championship last month, Vegas has posted finishes of MC-T44-T46 since.
Vegas carded a one-over 72 on Sunday at the PGA Championship to finish in a share of fifth place.
Vegas got off to a hot start with an opening round 64 and held the lead heading into the final two rounds. However, he was unable to carry that momentum into the weekend with back-to-back over-par rounds but still hung onto a top-5 finish. Vegas was carried by his all-around play, gaining shots in every strokes-gained category for the week and was 12th on approach and T3 in birdies made.
