Vegas won the 3M Open by one strokes over Max Greyserman after shooting a one-under 70 in the final round.
It wasn't the pretties showing from Vegas on Sunday, but it was just enough to get the job done. The entire final group struggled to get things going, but Vegas held a share of the lead playing the last hole after Greyserman was in the clubhouse with an eight-under 63. Vegas was able to hit the par-5 18th in two shots, but had a nearly 100 foot putt he needed to get down in two to secure the win. He speed was spot on and he was able to clean up from just three feet to win for the fourth time on the PGA Tour, but first time in seven years. The 39-year-old now goes from 149th to 66th in the FedExCup standings with the victory and will have a chance to make the FedExCup playoffs. Vegas is also into the Masters next season with the win.
