Kuchar shot an even-par 71 in the final round and finished in a tie for third place at the 3M Open.
Kuchar was looking for career win No. 10 this week after what has been a very tough season with 11 missed cuts and zero top-10s in 18 starts. The 46-year-old found something this week and would lead the field in SG: Approach and GIR percentage. Unfortunately the putts just weren't falling for Kuchar as he ranked 63rd in SG: Putting. He did very well to finish T3 considering those issues on the greens. Kuchar moves up from 155th in the FedExCup standings to 111th, but there's still plenty of ground to make up at the Wyndham Championship in a couple weeks to avoid missing the playoffs for the first time in his career.
