Springer fired a four-under 67 in the final roind of the John Deere Classic to finish in a tie for seventh place
Springer stayed in contention after dazzling the crowd with a 59 in the first round, but he was ultimately unable to capitalize on that feat. His third-place finish in the Puerto Rico Open is his best result of the year, and he is on a bit of a roll after coming in 10th at the Rocket Mortgage Classic. He missed several cuts prior to the two encouraging weeks of play.
