Pendrith closed with a four-under 67 on Sunday at the 3M Open to finish in solo fifth place.
Pendrith entered the weekend with a two-shot lead but faltered with a 73 on Saturday to find himself six back heading into the final round. He was able to close strong with an eagle and five birdies to go along with three bogeys to climb into the top-5. Pendrith had an excellent week with his ball striking, leading the field in SG: Off-the-tee and tied for seventh in greens in regulation for his second top-5 of the year.
Pendrith carded a two-under 72 to finish tied in the 72nd spot in the Rocket Mortgage Classic.
Pendrith gained 1.39 strokes off-the-tee which was tied at 26th. He registered 12 birdies as well, which was tied at 68th. It was Pendrith's worst finish in a competition this season. He will not participate in the upcoming John Deere Classic.
