Clark fired a six-under 64 on Sunday at the FedEx St. Jude Championship to finish tied for seventh place.
Clark closed with his best round of the tournament in which he made three birdies on each side and went bogey-free. He didn't stand out statistically in any strokes gained category but was top-25 in every area and led the field in scrambling for the week. The seventh top-10 of the year for Clark has him in sixth place in the FedExCup Standings heading into the BMW Championship.
Clark fired a final round eight-under 62 at the Genesis Scottish Open to finish in a share of 10th place.
Clark caught fire on the back-nine where he posted six birdies en route to a bogey-free round which climbed him all the way up from T49 to start the day into the top-10. He gained 4.4 strokes putting Sunday and ranked third in the category for the week, although he lost strokes with his ball striking over the four rounds. It's Clark's second straight top-10 and sixth such result this year.
Clark carded a seven-under 63 in the final round of the Travelers Championship to finish in a tie for ninth place.
Clark needed to bounce back this week after falling off the pace in the U.s Open, and although he recorded low rounds all week, it wasn't enough to contend. He elected to play the Scottish Open prior to the Open Championship last year, and is slated to play that event once again.
